RULES & REGULATIONS

The Market Masters, Virtual Stock Market Trading Challenge is a three-day experiential stock-market simulation designed to provide participants with practical exposure to financial-market decision-making.

• Each participant begins with ₹5,00,000 in virtual capital and trades across a predefined universe of 10 stocks whose simulated price movements are displayed through live charts.
• Throughout the trading sessions, unexpected market-moving news is introduced, potentially creating positive or negative movements in individual stocks or the broader market.
• Participants must analyse these developments and make timely buy, sell, hold, intraday or carry-forward decisions.
• Trades are placed through designated event volunteers, who record and process orders according to the event mechanism.
• Profit/loss, portfolio value and open positions are carried forward across the three days.
• The competition evaluates participants on final portfolio value, overall return, risk management, trading strategy and adaptability to market events.
• The challenge provides a completely risk-free environment to experience market volatility, uncertainty, financial analysis and decision-making under pressure.
• Participants must follow all trading procedures and instructions communicated by the organising committee.
• All participants must carry a valid college or institution ID and report according to the scheduled event timings.
• Any form of cheating, unauthorised assistance, misconduct or unfair practice may result in disqualification.
• The organising committee reserves the right to make final decisions on disputes, scoring and rule interpretation.
