RULES & REGULATIONS
Tark Vitark is proposed as an inter-college debate competition designed to provide students with a platform for structured discussion, intellectual exchange and healthy academic competition.
- The event will bring together students from different institutions to discuss contemporary issues, analyse diverse perspectives and present their viewpoints in a professional and structured manner.
- The competition will follow a team-based format, with two participants forming one team.
- Teams will be assigned or required to argue either in favour of or against a given motion and will present their arguments within the allotted speaking time.
- The event aims to strengthen critical thinking, analytical reasoning, public speaking, persuasive communication and teamwork.
- Participants will be encouraged to engage with different viewpoints and develop well-reasoned arguments.
- The event will promote meaningful inter-college interaction and provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate their confidence, knowledge and debating skills in a competitive academic environment.
- A maximum of 10 teams will participate, with 2 participants per team
- Participants must report to IGSM Room No. 101/102/103 before the scheduled reporting time.
- All participants must carry a valid college or institution ID.
- Any form of cheating, plagiarism, unauthorised assistance, misconduct or unfair practice may result in disqualification.
- The organising committee reserves the right to make final decisions on disputes, scoring and rule interpretation.
- Participants must follow all venue, campus and event-day instructions provided by the organising committee.
