RULES & REGULATIONS

The Solo Dance Competition is designed to provide students with a platform to express themselves through dance performances while celebrating diverse cultural and contemporary dance forms.

• The event will test choreography, creativity, musicality, stage presence and the ability to create a compelling performance within a fixed time limit.
• Participants may choose any appropriate dance style or a fusion of styles, subject to the event guidelines.
• The competition will encourage originality, teamwork and cultural representation while maintaining discipline, safety and respect for the audience and other participants.
• Participants must compete individually as a solo performer.
• Participants must report to the New Auditorium before the scheduled reporting time.
• All participants must carry a valid college or institution ID.
• Any form of cheating, misconduct, unauthorised assistance or unfair practice may result in disqualification.
• The organising committee reserves the right to make final decisions on disputes, scoring and rule interpretation.
• Participants must follow all venue, campus and event-day instructions provided by the organising committee.
