RULES & REGULATIONS
Basketball (Shooting Star) is an exciting individual skill-based competition designed to assess participants' shooting accuracy and consistency under pressure.
- Each participant will be given five attempts from the designated free-throw line to score as many baskets as possible.
- Every successful shot earns one point, while missed attempts receive no points.
- Participants must strictly follow the referee's instructions and ensure that all shots are taken from behind the designated shooting line.
- In the event of a tie, competitors will receive five additional shots, followed by a sudden-death round if necessary.
- The event promotes focus, precision, and sportsmanship while offering basketball enthusiasts an opportunity to showcase their shooting abilities and compete for top honors.
- Participants must report to the Basketball Court before the scheduled reporting time.
- All participants must carry a valid college or institution ID.
- Any form of cheating, misconduct, unauthorised assistance or unfair practice may result in disqualification.
- The organising committee reserves the right to make final decisions on disputes, scoring and rule interpretation.
- Participants must follow all venue, campus and event-day instructions provided by the organising committee.
