RULES & REGULATIONS

The Vocal Performance Competition is an inter-college singing contest that brings together talented soloists, duets, and vocal groups to showcase their voice, musicality, creativity, and stage presence.

• The competition follows a progressive three-stage format comprising the Preliminary Round, Semi-Final, and Grand Final, giving participants multiple opportunities to demonstrate their performance abilities and compete for the title.
• Each participant or team will have a maximum performance time of 5 minutes, including entry and exit.
• Performances will be evaluated on voice quality and pitch control, synchronization and coordination, rhythm and musicality, stage presence and expressions, creativity and song selection, cultural representation, and overall impact.
• Participants may use music tracks or instruments as applicable, while maintaining appropriate and respectful performance content.
• The competition celebrates diverse musical expression while testing vocal skill, confidence, creativity, and the ability to connect with an audience under competitive stage conditions.
• Participants must report to the New Auditorium before the scheduled reporting time.
• All participants must carry a valid college or institution ID.
• Any form of cheating, misconduct, unauthorised assistance or unfair practice may result in disqualification.
• The organising committee reserves the right to make final decisions on disputes, scoring and rule interpretation.
• Participants must follow all venue, campus and event-day instructions provided by the organising committee.
