RULES & REGULATIONS

Battle of Bands 2026 is an inter-college live music competition that brings together talented student bands from colleges and universities to compete on a professional stage.

• The event provides emerging musicians with a platform to showcase their vocal and instrumental abilities, creativity, musicality, coordination, and stage presence through high-energy live performances.
• Each band will get a dedicated sound-check session followed by a performance of up to 30 minutes, allowing them to present original compositions and/or cover songs while engaging the audience.
• Performances will be evaluated by a panel of judges on musicality, technical skill, vocal and instrumental performance, creativity, originality, band coordination, stage presence, and audience engagement.
• More than just a competition, IILM Battle of Bands 2026 celebrates the spirit of live music and provides student artists with an opportunity to perform, connect, compete, and make their mark on stage.
• Participants must report to the CET Main Ground before the scheduled reporting time.
• All participants must carry a valid college or institution ID.
• Any form of cheating, misconduct, unauthorised assistance or unfair practice may result in disqualification.
• The organising committee reserves the right to make final decisions on disputes, scoring and rule interpretation.
• Participants must follow all venue, campus and event-day instructions provided by the organising committee.
